When we think of Kung-Fu, what comes to mind? Breaking wooden boards in half with our fists? Its beloved ambassadors, Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan? What about Fei Yue shoes and baggy robes? The truth is, Kung-Fu is much more than any these things: it’s a stunningly beautiful, yet incredibly powerful martial-art made from the connection of mind and body. Fortunately for us, there is a center run by graduates of the Shanghai Shaolin Kung-Fu Curtural Center and their masters are fantastic teachers of children.

The Shaolin Youth Kung Fu Program is a systematic training course built on the globally recognized Shaolin Duan Pin System—a progressive framework of “9 Levels & 9 Grades” that guides students step by step from foundation to mastery.
Designed specifically for children aged 4 and above, this program blends traditional Shaolin philosophy with modern training methods to support both physical development and inner growth.
Students will experience a well-rounded curriculum that integrates:
- Meditation & Mindfulness – cultivating calmness, focus, and emotional balance
- Fundamental Kung Fu Techniques – structured progression through Shaolin forms
- Sanda (Practical Self-Defense) – developing real-world awareness and confidence
- Acrobatics & Mobility Training – including jumps, rolls, and coordination drills
- Weapons Introduction – exposure to traditional Shaolin weapon basics
Beyond technique, this program emphasizes discipline, respect, and resilience. Every movement becomes a practice in concentration, every session a step toward stronger body awareness and mental clarity.
